Designing for use

The team at Cooper (http://www.cooper.com/) are experts in interaction design, a technique that anyone working on a software project should be aware of, irrespective of the methodology and development approaches being used.

In their latest “Drawing Board” the Cooper team looked at the design of an automatic cat feeder.  The video clip is a great look at the design thinking process and an example of using simple personas to clarify the stakeholder needs.
